QUESTIONS???

Do you have any questions?  Below I have thought of a possible question you might have.  Please view.  If you have any more questions that come to mind please post them in the comment section below.

The purpose of this short introduction to KSP 669 is to help prepare you for success. If you are planning on having the majority of your practicum experience completed before Oct. 22 you need to complete the following tasks:

 1) Write a THREE lesson unit. A unit theme is a set of lessons that build upon one another toward a central focus that reflects key concepts and skills. You will design a lesson sequence that integrates an academic discipline of choice and adolescent literacy learning.

 2) Use the pre-approved lesson template located on D2L

3)  Use your edTPA Handbook (D2L) to help guide you in drafting your lessons. Pay close attention to the rubrics.  I will be using these rubrics to assess your lessons and commentary.

 4) Videorecord at least one lesson. I suggest recording TWO, so you can choose which one you like better later. 4) Arrange for an observation of one of your lessons. Either Dr. Chapman or myself will be observing you. Please send the lesson plan you will be teaching at least 24 hours in advance, so I can go over your lesson plan before hand.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
